Green Room Yoga Albury Wodonga - Yoga for Everybody
At Green Room Yoga & Wellness we have a variety of different classes to suit everybody! All Green classes above can be visited on your Green Room Yoga pass and are drop-in friendly (No need to book). Mats are provided. Bring a towel, or hire/buy one from us.
STRENGTH & STRETCH YOGA (HOT OR NOT): For building strength, muscle tone and stretching.
The emphasis in this class is more on strength building holds and stretching. BEGINNER FRIENDLY but taught in a way to really work the body. This is the perfect place to start, and the perfect complement to other forms of exercise. The room is around 25 degrees to warm up your body and encourage a deeper stretch. Hot Strength & Stretch is heated to 37 degrees to help you burn more calories and stretch a little further. (Warm classes are 29 degrees at no extra cost).
STRETCH & RELAX YOGA : a crazy deep stretch & de-stress. Walk out like feeling like you just had a massage.
A class focusing on strong long stretches (hammies, quads, hips, chest and more) and on relaxing the body & mind. This class incorporates many floor poses, long holds, breathing techniques. Perfect antidote for those suffering from Stress, Anxiety or Depression, or those looking for some down time. SUITABLE FOR ALL. If you are just getting back into exercise or an exercise addict this is where your body needs you to be!!!
FLOW YOGA (HOT OR NOT): Move your body with your breath and cap it off with some delicious long stretches
A dynamic class that flows with the breath - building mind, breath and body awareness . A focus on upper body, core and standing poses. The idea is to have fun, to move with your breath and then wind down in some long stretches . An INTERMEDIATE practice to challenge body and mind. HOT classes are heated to a toasty 35 degrees to really get you sweating out those toxins and burning lots of calories. Amazingly you will still feel relaxed at the end!
MEDITATION: Last Sunday of the Month - Sound Meditation: 30 minutes of crystal singing bowls showering you with sound and light. Lie down and feel the sound shimmer through your body. ONLY $5 (all proceeds go to charity).
ONE - ON - ONE YOGA CLASSES - Green Room Yoga Albury Wodonga offers one on one yoga classes at a fraction of the price of Melbourne consultations. These are a brilliant way to deepen your practice, workshop poses you are having difficulties with, learn how to work with aliments, or introduce yourself to yoga if the concept of a general class is a little overwhelming.
